NO. 378 MEMORIAL TO PIONEER ODD FELLOWS - On some large rocks near Carson Pass, a group of pioneers inscribed their names and the emblem of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in 1849.
Location
At State Hwy 88 (P.M. 5.3) and Red Vista Road. Drive South on Red Vista Road for about .25 mi. (14.4 mi W of Woodfords)

We went in late April. There was still snow on the ground. It would be better to go in the summer when you can take Hwy 88 to Red Vista Road. Head South for .25 mi. There is a turnout where you can park and walk up to the boulders that are on the south side of the turnout.
