Located on the Monterey Peninsula in the city of Pacific Grove, Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds State Park provides visitors numerous opportunities for beach and coast trail walks, a short boardwalk loop through the Asilomar Dunes Natural Preserve, as well as a chance to stay on-site in a variety of overnight room lodging and conference meeting room facilities. From its historic Julia Morgan architecture to the forest, the dunes and coastline, State Park staff takes the lead in protecting and educating State Park visitors about Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds, while monitoring the delicate balance between preservation and public access.
